
About Briana James
Born in Athens, Georgia, and raised in Miami, Florida, Briana is currently completing her Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the University of Southern California, School of Dramatic Arts. Prior to her MFA at USC, Briana received her BFA at NYU/Tisch.
While at USC, Briana has had the privilege of performing on stage, screen, and was a member of the company that brought August Wilson’s, King Hedley II to the International Black Theatre Festival, where she received the Mabel P. Robinson Emerging Artist Award.
When she’s not acting, Briana can be found practicing martial arts, working on her vocals, or out exploring nature!
Briana seeks to tell stories that ignite, impact, and inspire! She is a generous collaborator, with a courageous ability to share her whole self in her work. Briana's passion for storytelling and her commitment to her craft shine through in every performance.

Briana's journey as an actress is a testament to her perseverance and talent. Her love for the art of acting began at a young age, taking her first acting class in middle school. Briana has honed her skills through extensive training and immersive experiences. Briana's ability to immerse herself in diverse roles and share herself with audiences on a deep emotional level sets her apart.
